The brief
Just Good Soil sells a simple idea: test your soil, feed it what it's missing, and grow better food. The tricky part was the test. Kits go to a lab, and the results lived somewhere else entirely — disconnected from the store and the products that fix the problem.
What we built
- A store that tells the story in three steps. Test, Nourish, Activate — from the homepage to every product page, so a new gardener knows exactly where to start.
- A gardening quiz. A few questions that point each visitor to the right starting kit.
- Kit registration in the customer account. Customers register their Soil Genie test kit from their account, and it's registered with the lab automatically.
- Results where customers already are. The lab's progress is checked every ten minutes. When the results are ready, the soil report and recommendations appear in the customer's account — right next to the products that help.
Why it matters
Connecting the lab to the store turns a one-off test into an ongoing relationship: customers see what their soil needs and can act on it in the same place.
